I recently walked into a local barber shop. I’ve passed by it a few times and really needed a cut; it seemed like they were experienced barbers who would have no issues with a fade. I was able to get into a chair right away, but then a noticeable language barrier emerged when I sat down, making me consider leaving. Since I had a feeling I was not going to like the result but felt awkward and with the cape already on, I proceeded despite my reservations.
The language challenge persisted, hindering effective communication of my preferences. Though I initially requested a high fade, I found it challenging to convey my expectations, leading to a different outcome.
The final result significantly differed from what I envisioned, no fade and the beard lineup without a straight blade (at $60, I expected a cleaner lineup). Despite the challenges, I acknowledge that she did her best.
In summary, at $60, the overall experience definitely fell short of expectations.I suggest elsewhere if you’re looking for a fade, this seems like more like one of those places where you tell them what numbers you want on the sides and top .
Great neighborhood barbershop. I’ve had cuts with multiple barbers (who have all done great jobs). I finally settled in with Jenny. My girl always hooks me up. She’s quick, efficient, and does a phenomenal job. 10/10
They are the bes!
You can eat all the chocolate you want.
They also have very good lollipops.
Ledo and Sal are the best barbers west of the Mississippi!
Best barber shop I have ever found - by far. I have been going to Ledo for 5 years. Friendly neighborhood barbershop vibe and very inclusive. You can't go wrong with any of the barbers , but Cesar is try go-to. Gives the best fades, is meticulous with his work, and very friendly. I really appreciate the fact that you can book appointments, and I have never had to wait more than about 4-5 minutes. I can't recommend Ledo - Art of the Barber any higher. Note: This is a cash only barber shop, but there is a Chase ATM around the corner and an ATM in the shop; Plan accordingly.
I have always had an exceptional experience at this shop. Ledo is a master of his craft. The attention to detail and skill is unmatched. Not only do I get a perfect cut tailored to my needs, but the welcoming and professional atmosphere makes the entire experience that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend the shop to anyone seeking a top-notch barber!
LEDO is an amazing barber shop. Welcoming environment, aesthetically pleasing and ergonomic atmosphere. I had my haircut with Ledo (the Master) who was pleasant and gave me the best haircut of my life! Extremely professional experience and I had a great time overall!
Recently moved to the area and was excited to try this place as it's super convenient and has lots of great reviews. Did a walk in, sat there for almost half an hour during which nobody acknowledged me in any way, including some of the barbers who weren't even cutting hair. I'm assuming they were on a break which is totally cool but still guys, do some basic customer service. Anyway had to leave for another appointment but stupidly ignored this red flag and booked a cut for the next day on their website, which is a pain to use and had to download the third party app to get it to work.
The haircut is by far the worst I've had in over a decade. I'm a short back and sides guy, so it really takes some effort to get it wrong but these guys achieved it. One side is significantly shorter than the other so it's completely lopsided, then at the front opposite corner there are a few random hairs that seem to have not been cut at all so are dangling down. It's actually kind of comical. I now know why this happened - the person doing my hair absolutely drenched it before using the scissors and also sat me at an off angle to the mirror, so probably had no idea what was already cut vs needed to be cut more. Absolutely bizarre and this person has a ton of great reviews on their site which I'm now very suspicious about.
Obviously won't be going back here... Avoid avoid avoid
Great place, good service and quality haircut at a price you can't complain about. I've had my haircut with Jenni, she's fantastic. Would def recommend.
